| You need to be a little bit skilled at working with Lycra and elastics. Even I can't do them very well, or at least professional looking, and I've been sewing for a while. What you'll need to do is take apart the elastic seams on the edge, in the crotch area. Then take apart the two crotch seams. Next you'll need to figure out how much you want taken away. When you do this you'll be left with a wider crotch so you'll need to trim this a little more narrow. After that's done stitch the crotch lining and crotch back together, then stitch the elastic edge back together and you're done. Or you can take it to someone that specializes in sewing undergarments. |
