| CSI L.V . Boys killed by russian roulette? I watched CSI a while back whne it started to show on TV in sweden. I remember that I saw an episode where a group of teens were playing russian roulette with a gun on a pole (they stuck the pole throu thw roop and spun the gun down along it, jumping away from the bullets). | Why are the laws on rape charges so weird? I read this interesting article, and it made me realize something kind of weird. Through out the years when I heard something or other about rape cases, the evidence against the rapist (be it a man or woman) was never exactly high of the cases I'd read about. I remember watching a movie about sex offenders, and they showed this 1 boy who's life was ruined because his younger sister got very angry at him and accused him of raping her (even though he actually didnt) then without any evidence what so ever he was put on that list of sex offenders, and had a felony on his record. When the girl got older and realized how badly she ruined his life over petty revenge she felt horrible and tried to clear things up with the courts stating she had lied, but they wouldnt remove the felony from his record. Why do you think things are set up the way they are? Oh also for anyone who has been raped and are angry that I wrote this, I'm not trying to say that YOU in particular are a liar, I'm just asking why are the laws set up so that people can be accused of such a horrible act and its looked at as "You are guilty until proven innocent". I mean having "RAPE" on your record is almost as bad as having "MURDERER" on there. So obviously its something I think that should be judged very carefully, and with more evidence then just the old "he said/she said" rule.
